I fished Loomis for 4-5 years, they are pretty good rods but anything more than a GL3 and they become to brittle. Ive broke many tips just getting snagged in rocks or trees. I own a 6'6" MH helium and it is my primary rod. Jigs and texas rigs it excells at. And now Loomis rods are being made in China. Im not sure how their warranty is anymore, thing the expeditor service raise their prices a little. might want to check!
