My current topwater rod is a 6-foot med-light rod ... that one is pretty good for small stickbaits and poppers .... I used to fish smallies in the Mississipi river by St Cloud MN ... that rod would bend over completely .... You guys got to assume that we don't have florida-strain bass in france ... guess that sucks for that matter ! But I don't wanna stay here.. so I should think about getting stronger than a med-light... But yop that rod was kinda whimpy for bigger stickbaits ... might want to look at the 6' medium then ... will see that later. But it's nice to see a forum with guys like you ! _________________ Def.
