He will be poles apart from the guy who talks really well about fish but is at best an armchair fisherman if there ever was one. Of course you can listen to him, and make at the best mental notes.

Remember always that you are taking at best a calculated risk when you try out well-meant advice on bass fishing techniques. But the risks of taking bad advice is greater, you may get injured, jailed or experience the humiliation of coming home with an empty fish bucket!
